motion is our annual event. Hundreds of brilliant minds – pros in the film, broadcast and game industries – all coming together to share unique ideas that revolutionize the industry, change the way they look at their work and serve as inspiration for one another.
It all starts off with motionfest – our pre-conference event (10.9.11) where you'll experience a full day of rapid-fire tips, tricks, and technique sessions.
Then at motion (10.10.11-10.11.11) we'll take you on a mind-bending, two day ride where you'll reconnect with the reason you got into this industry to begin with - in an extraordinary atmosphere designed to revitalize the creative muse.
To ensure that motion continues to be an intimate event and networking experience, registration is limited to 325 attendees.

Immediately following motion, get ready for The Adobe Post Show. It’s 2.5 days of intermediate to advanced Adobe Production Premium workflow sessions designed specifically for professionals in the motion picture, broadcast and game industries.
Taught by leading industry experts, The Adobe Post Show takes place Wednesday, October 12 – Friday, October 14, 2011 at Hotel Andaluz, this year’s motion headquarters.
To ensure the ultimate learning experience that motion attendees have come to expect, participation is limited to the first 100 registrants. Breakout sessions are limited to 30-40 attendees per session. Session selection will be made in the order of registration, so register now.

Qualified motion graphics, vfx, and animation post-secondary students and educators: Attend motion or The Adobe Post Show for $299 each – or both for $598. Contact us to apply for this $300-$600 discount. You must provide proof of current full-time status.
